Balloon over Yangon

A few Months ago, Mingalarbar balloon Company launched its new balloon service in Yangon. It has become one of the most popular tourist attraction in Yangon where every traveller must go.
This air balloon is located in the compound of Kandawgyi Park near aquarium museum. This hot air balloon will fly up and down from the 400 feet height of the sky. Almost 20 people can ride at the same time. This yellow balloon is bigger than the balloons from Bagan, Mandalay and Inle. The flight duration lasts 15 to 20 minutes. The balloons fly 30 times in a day. It starts flying in the morning from sunrise to sunset except for windy (depend on weathers situations) time. The balloon takes you around Yangon and you can see the overview of beautiful Yangon. But, I am sure, the sunset is the best time for balloon rides.
If you are bored with the cinema, Pagodas, Parks and shopping, the riding balloon is a fabulous idea to relax your mind and to make something different in the weekend. You will definitely have breathtaking experiences. The balloons will take you through the green parks, lakes and building. The fees per flight for the locals is 10,000 MMK (for adult and 5000 MMK for children). For the Foreigner, it will cost 27 $ for one ride.
